Ben Coryell

Owner/Guide

Ben has been climbing for over 13 years and guiding for over 5. What started out as a way to skip classes turned into an obsession. Every chance he gets, Ben is out exploring the backcountry of Colorado. Ben also volunteers with the Colorado Mountain Club and typically teaches a few classes for them every year. Anymore, Ben enjoys long multi-pitch routes where he can be high above the ground.  Within the next few years, he hopes to achieve an IFMGA pin and climb big mountains in obscure corners of the world.

"I love to teach climbing because there is no better feeling than watching and helping someone overcome an obstacle to succeed. The mountains are the best and I feel very privileged to be able to work in them!"

When Ben isn’t climbing, he can be found backcountry skiing, drinking way too much coffee, or spending time with his wife and son.
