Description

Multipitch sport climbing with a short approach…what more needs to be said! This is the classic Clear Creek Canyon route and features up to 6 pitches of stellar climbing high over the river. A quick 15 minute hike to the base gives you a chance to get warmed up before launching up the first pitch.

Playin’ Hooky is an enjoyable cruise up a magnificent piece of stone. For many people, this is their first multipitch route – and for good reason. There are many fun variations to climb and awesome belay ledges to enjoy the scenery. If you’ve done some outdoor rock climbing and are looking to get into multipitch climbing, this is a perfect introduction.

The edges are crisp and the friction is incredible as you wind your way to the final steep headwall where the river below begins to seem smaller and smaller. Join us on this incredible Colorado Classic!
