Spend the morning being adventurous and go rock climbing! This exhilarating climbing experience is perfect for any group size including families and kids. Denver, Colorado is just a short drive away from some fantastic rock climbing for all ability levels. Spectacular scenery, amazing climbing, and professional guides and instructors make this a must do!
This is a group climbing tour suited for beginners looking to try it out and experience the thrill of rock climbing. Spend the morning learning to climb in Golden (20 minutes west of Denver) with an AMGA trained and certified instructor. This climbing tour is appropriate for all skill levels, however, the emphasis is on beginners and a solid intro experience to outdoor rock climbing. All necessary climbing equipment is provided as you challenge yourself on some of the best rock climbing in the Denver Front Range area.
Participants meet at our office in Golden, Colorado and get geared up for a morning of rock climbing. A short carpool from the office and a quick hike put you at the base of some real rock where you’ll get a solid introduction to climbing and climbing movement as you scale the cliffs and take in the sights.
7:45am – Meet at the Golden Mountain Guides Office. Meet your guides/instructors and get geared up.
8:00am – Carpool to a local climbing area and hike into the cliff.
8:20am – Learn how to put on climbing equipment and tie a figure eight knot.
8:30am – Climb some rocks!
11:45am – Pack up gear and return to the Golden Mountain Guides office.
12:00pm – Enjoy the rest of the day exploring Golden.
