Let us know and we can make it happen.

Eldorado Peak

Eldorado Peak, often referred to as the “Queen of the Cascade River” in homage to Fred Beckey, stands as a testament to the grandeur of the North Cascades. Eldorado’s remote location and fantastic position are reminiscent of the high mountains in Patagonia and beyond.

The East Ridge offers the least technical ascent of the peak, but still demands proper equipment and climbing experience for safety and success. However, the rewards are abundant. From the summit, hikers are treated to panoramic views that stretch across Marble Creek, Dorado Needle, Forbidden Peak, Mount Buckner, Logan, Johannesburg, and the other peaks of the Ptarmigan Traverse. For those looking for an even bigger challenge, more technical ascents are available as well.

Ascending Eldorado Peak is more than just a climb; it’s an exhilarating journey into the heart of a truly remote alpine environment. For Pacific Northwest mountaineers, conquering this iconic summit is a badge of honor and a testament to their love for the rugged beauty of the Cascades.

Forbidden Peak

Climb Forbidden’s West Ridge and experience one of the 50 classic climbs of North America. Forbidden Peak captivates climbers with its striking appearance, boasting three perfect ridges that converge towards a pointed summit. Renowned as one of the crown jewels of the entire Cascade Range, Forbidden Peak’s allure lies in its beauty and legendary climbing.
