The Diamond of the Front Range of Colorado! Rising 14,259 feet above sea level, Longs Peak dominates the skyline over Boulder and Estes Park. As one of Colorado’s most sought after 14er summits, people from all over the world come to experience the beauty and splendor of this mountain.

Located near Estes Park, Colorado, Longs Peak resides in Rocky Mountain National Park and stands as a symbol of triumph and challenge. The popular Keyhole Route is the unquestioned classic route to the top of Longs Peak where you’ll experience boulder hopping, scrambling, and jaw dropping exposure.

Spectacular hiking and scrambling high at altitude make climbing this mountain a challenging endeavor, but one you will always remember! Our Longs Peak guided hike begins at 2 a.m and departs from the Longs Peak Trailhead, located just 20 minutes from the town of Estes Park.

Over the course of the next 14 miles, you’ll wind your way through beautiful forests, high alpine tundra, and surreal landscapes. As you approach Chasm Junction, the Diamond face comes into view and you can’t help but feel amazed at the incredible beauty of this mountain. Continue hiking to the boulder field, cross through the famous keyhole and navigate the small ledges through the trough, narrows, and homestretch.

Hiking Longs Peak via the Keyhole Route is a big day, but our guides are here to encourage, support, and educate along the way. The views are worth it and the summit provides the most amazing views you’ll ever see!
