Dave learned to ski above treeline on the slopes of Colorado’s Arapahoe Basin and climb on the ancient quartzite of the Shawangunks in New York.  Always finding the mountains to be a place of expansive freedom and raw honesty, Dave has pursued adventures in the vertical from the Cascades to the Alps.  Dave is passionate about the mountains and mountain craft, and he strives to make every day guiding on rock or snow educational, enriching, and enjoyable for his clients.
