Our privately guided backcountry ski touring days for intermediate and advanced riders are designed for those seeking more strenuous days, more untouched powder stashes, and more vert across Colorado’s most stunning backcountry terrain.

This private backcountry day is custom-tailored and personalized to your skiing/riding ability and fitness level. You will have the opportunity to delve into the heart of the winter wilderness with an experienced guide. You can choose to explore pristine powder bowls, serene tree glades, or challenging alpine routes, all while taking in the stunning mountain scenery.

We’ll show you the best areas and snow, continually assess avalanche hazard, and educate about mountain navigation and terrain management. You’ll not only enjoy fantastic skiing and riding, but also learn how to make informed decisions in the backcountry.

Excludes:

  • Transportation. You will be responsible for your own transportation to and from a designated meeting area
  • Gratuity
  • Personal items such as food, clothing, backpack, etc.
  • Backcountry ski setup (including skis, boots, skins, poles)
  • Cold weather/snow attire, including gloves and water resistant pants
  • Entrance fees and parking fees (where necessary)
