Our extreme alpine routes will take you deep into Rocky Mountain National Park to discover hard to reach routes with big towering walls. Classic routes include Blitzen Ridge on Ypsilon Mountain, Kieners Route, and more!

This option is reserved for some of the longest and most challenging routes in Rocky Mountain National Park. We’ll be approaching our objective well before sunrise and sometimes even beginning our technical climbing before sunrise.

A professionally trained and/or certified AMGA guide
All necessary ice climbing equipment including harnesses, helmets, mountaineering boots (Alaska Private Days excluded), crampons, ice tools, belay devices, ropes, and protection

Transportation. You will be responsible for your own transportation to and from a designated meeting area
