Clothing & Layers

Footwear

Hydration & Nutrition

  • At least 2 liters of water
Bottles or a hydration pack like a CamelBak—just make sure it’s full!
  • Food and high-energy snacks
Think trail mix, bars, jerky—something quick, filling, and satisfying. Sometimes we have clients that love to bring a breakfast burrito!

Gear & Essentials

  • Daypack (20L)
Big enough to carry your personal items, but not bulky.
  • Sunscreen & lip balm (with SPF)
    Sunburns don’t make good souvenirs.
  • Personal medications
Including any allergy meds, inhalers, or daily prescriptions.
  • Sunglasses
Polarized if possible—it helps on bright rock surfaces.
  • Camera or smartphone
Because you’ll want to remember this view.

Your guide will bring all the climbing gear you’ll need—helmet, harness, ropes, etc, however if you have your own gear and would rather bring that just let us know! If you’re unsure about an item, reach out. We’re happy to help you dial in your packing list.
