Description

Want to experience the glory of summiting a Colorado 14er? How about two in the same day! Grays and Torreys peaks are some of Colorado’s finest, and their proximity enables the unique opportunity to summit them both in the same day!

After driving 25 minutes up a moderate rocky gravel road, arrive at the trailhead and begin your hike under headlamp to the sunrise on Grays and Torreys, unveiling the challenge before you. Follow one of the best graded and well formed 14er trails in the state, maybe in the country, to the summit of either peak. Then traverse down into the saddle between them, summit the second, and hike home!

More than enjoyable terrain, get to experience Colorado flora and fauna up close! This route is known for a wide array of wildlife from pika to mountain goats, alpine succulents and more.

Enjoy a cold treat and soak your feet in the trailhead stream, enjoying the view of the peaks you just conquered. Sounds pretty dreamy, huh?

This is one of the coolest experiences you can have in Colorado by a large margin. Check it out!
