Rewritten

A Moderate Classic Climb with Incredible Exposure

Rewritten is one of the most sought after routes in Eldorado Canyon State Park. It climbs the impressive Green Spur Buttress and finishes on the super exposed and airy Rebuffat’s Arete on Redgarden Wall. This is one of the most popular routes in Eldorado Canyon, and for good reason! Six pitches of quality 5.7 climbing and tons of variety of movement make this stellar route a popular objective. The towering walls glow with hues of red, green, and yellow as you wind your way up chimney features, hand traverses, and aretes with nothing but air under your feet.

Local Boulder climbers George Hurley, Bob Culp, and John Link made the first ascent of Rewritten in 1967. Nowadays, most climbers opt for the Great Zot start instead of the original start due to the runout nature of the climbing. Either way you take, the climbing is phenomenal and the views aren't half bad either!
