YES! We are all climbers at heart! Our guides undergo rigorous training to ensure they have the experience and knowledge to help you achieve your goal. Anyone can climb...We Promise!
Do I need any experience?
None at all! Over 80% of our clients have never experienced the thrill of climbing. We also offer numerous courses and clinics which require no experience at all.
Can I bring my dog?
While we all love Fido, the local crag is not a good place for dogs. Many climbing areas are dangerous to animals because of temperatures, natural hazards, and terrain consequences. Leave them at home with a good "squeaky" toy and a big bowl of water!
What can I expect on a full-day climbing adventure?
Lots of climbing! Full days are a great way to learn and practice skills, climb bigger mountains, and see Colorado from a new perspective. We place a large emphasis in teaching every aspect of climbing so you walk away feeling confident in both your abilities and the equipment. After meeting your guide, be prepared for an ardous hike to the cliff where you will either climb, learn, skills, or work your way up a 1,000 foot cliff and stand on the summit. Full day climbing trips are more physically demanding, but the reward more than makes up for the effort!
What can I expect on a half-day climbing adventure?
Lots of climbing! We place a large emphasis in teaching every aspect of climbing so you walk away feeling confident in both your abilities and the equipment. After meeting your guide, be prepared for a short hike to the cliff where you will cover all the basics including safety, knots, and how to move on the rocks. Expect to have fun!
What should I bring with me?
We provide all necessary climbing equipment including harnesses, shoes, helmets, and ropes. We do, however, recommend you bring a backpack with plenty of water, sunscreen, extra layers of clothing, a sack lunch, and a camera. This will ensure you have the best possible experience!
Is it customary to tip my guide?
If you feel your guide did an outstanding job, then yes. Most people think of 'tip' money as fun money, but in reality, it helps pay mortgages, support families, and pay taxes!
Where do I meet my guide on the day of my trip?
After you book a trip with us, you should receive an email titled, "Confirmation & Trip Details." This confirmation email will include directions, GPS coordinates, and a map to help you navigate.
